My friend Tina and I arranged to meet at King Gillette Ranch in the Malibu Hills. When Tina arrived, we both agreed that the mustard on the hills was gorgeous and if we could find a spot along the road where we could look over the mustard toward the hills, we would rather paint there.
So we did.
The mustard was yellow and the skies were filled with beautiful puffy clouds which showed just enough cobalt blue through them to make a gorgeous statement.
Even though the noise from the road was a little distracting (and very annoying when trying to make a video) it was a fabulous decision. We both had a great day painting in the beautiful Malibu hills near Calabasas, CA.
