The Rock

My PAC6 friends and I stayed a week in Carmel painting and laughing and feeling wonderful to be outside in beautiful places.

We painted several plein air pieces each day.

When I came home, many of the pieces were unfinished.

All these months later I pulled this one out of the "trip pile" and did what I could to finish it.

As I complete a painting, I feel like it's a way to honor and remember the sights, smells and joy --- the essence of the place we were.This image features a painting depicting a coastal seascape.
