Just Down The Street

Almost every morning I walk about one and a half miles down the hill and back.
So often I enjoy beautiful skies, soaring hawks, honking flocks of geese, or tranquil families of ducks paddling in the creek which washes down the mountain and into a flood control channel.
I often enjoy looking the patterns in the mosses that grow and the shadows of the trees and palms just after the creek gets its cement lining.
On this day a snowy egret had joined a small family of ducks..
It always makes me smile.
